Variable speed pulleys
Variable speed pulleys
SIMPLABELT - long the trade name for well-proven variable-speed belt drives.
Type 11.213
The core of this pulley type is the design of the sliding fit. A coated hub in the form of a four-sided polygon with pulley flanges of diecast aluminium is used nowadays in the compact units
The benefits of so doing are:
- Large torque transmission, i.e. no excessive load
- Self-centring owing to symmetrical backlash compensation, i.e. the pulley slides do not tilt
- Silent running
- Maintenance-free
- Long service life
Type 11.101
Power range 0.37 - 18.5 kW at n1=1500 RPM. The tensioning needed for power transmission is exerted in this type by pulley springs centrally installed on both sides of the pulley flanges.
Type 11.104
Power range 0.37 - 3 kW at n1=1500 RPM. The tension required to transmit power is exerted here by cylindrical pressure springs rotationally symmetrically installed on both sides of the pulley flanges. The variable speed pulleys are life-lubricated and maintenance-free.
